An extreme wind event, possibly a weak tornado, caused significant damage to a mobile home park in Oxnard during a powerful atmospheric river storm, with roofs torn off homes and power lines downed. Around a dozen properties at Ocean-Aire Mobile Home Estates were affected, leaving the area without electricity. Meteorologists from the National Weather Service were set to assess the damage to determine if a tornado had indeed occurred, with mobile home parks in Southern California previously being hit hard by extreme weather events this year.
