The Peace Corps is launching a new initiative called Tech Corps, aimed at recruiting STEM graduates and AI professionals to assist in host countries. Volunteers will work on projects related to agriculture, education, health, and economic development, as part of the American AI Exports Program established to enhance U.S. influence in the global AI market. Participants will receive 12- to 27-month assignments, including housing and stipends. The program seeks “service-minded technologists” to promote prosperity through American technology.
