Amazon Driver Leaves Van on Foulness Island Route
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

An Amazon van became stranded in the Thames Estuary while seeking to reach Foulness Island, after being misled by GPS onto the dangerous Broomway, a 600-year-old path that requires precise timing with tides. The route is treacherous due to its narrow visibility and hazardous mud, making it suitable only for guided crossings. The coastguard confirmed the driver was safe, and local assistance helped recover the vehicle. Amazon is currently investigating the incident.
