Alleged head of fraud network arrested in Spain and returned to Montreal

A 36-year-old man accused of leading a real estate fraud ring that scammed victims out of $5 million in Westmount and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce was apprehended in Spain and extradited to Montreal, where he appeared in court. His first appearance at the Montreal courthouse occurred over the weekend following his return from Spain, where he had been hiding after the alleged scam came to light.
