All-candidates debates for provincial election cancelled in Windsor

Three local ridings’ all-candidates debates organized by the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce for the upcoming Ontario election have been cancelled due to one party declining to participate and incomplete candidate slates. The affected ridings are Windsor West, Windsor–Tecumseh, and Essex, with the debates moving to fireside chats instead of traditional debates. Low registration and financial concerns also contributed to the decision, with other chambers across Ontario also opting for alternative debate formats.
