Peacock is reviving the beloved film Clueless with a new series featuring Alicia Silverstone reprising her iconic role as Cher Horowitz, where she will also serve as an executive producer. The series is being developed by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, known for Gossip Girl and The O.C., in collaboration with Clueless creator Amy Heckerling and producer Robert Lawrence. While no release date has been announced, the series marks CBS Studios’ continued exploration of reviving classic IPs for streaming platforms.
