The problem, linked to intense solar radiation, was identified after a JetBlue flight experienced a sharp altitude loss, injuring passengers. Although most of the approximately 6,000 affected aircraft were modified quickly, a few remain pending updates. Additionally, an industrial quality issue with fuselage panels may delay some deliveries, but no in-service aircraft are reportedly impacted.
