Airbus has resolved a software issue affecting the A320 family of aircraft, which could have compromised flight controls, allowing fleets to return to normal operations. The problem, linked to intense solar radiation, was identified after a JetBlue flight experienced a sharp altitude loss, injuring passengers. Although most of the approximately 6,000 affected aircraft were modified quickly, a few remain pending updates. Additionally, an industrial quality issue with fuselage panels may delay some deliveries, but no in-service aircraft are reportedly impacted.
