The Boeing 777-300ER flight had to return to Chicago over Greenland due to restrictions on nightly operations at European airports. Passengers were provided with accommodation and alternative flight routes, with the airline noting that this wasn’t the first incident of foreign objects being flushed down the toilets on Air India flights.
