Air Force One returns to base during Trump’s trip to Davos
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

US President Donald Trump’s journey to Europe for the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland was briefly interrupted due to a minor electrical issue on Air Force One, prompting a return to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. Trump resumed his trip on a smaller Boeing 757, departing just after midnight local time. The iconic Air Force One planes, used for presidential travel, have been in service for nearly four decades and are equipped with advanced technology for security and communication. Last year, Trump was gifted a luxury Boeing 747-8 jet by the ruling family of Qatar to be added to the Air Force One fleet.
