On day three of the ceasefire in Gaza, the UN aid coordination office noted a significant increase in humanitarian assistance entering the enclave following 15 months of Israeli bombardment, with more than 900 aid trucks arriving on Monday. Immediate priorities include providing food, healthcare, and shelter, as well as addressing the widespread hunger, homelessness, and psychological trauma in the population of over two million people, especially children. Urgent health needs must also be met, with many hospitals not fully functional and thousands of patients requiring evacuation and rehabilitation services.
