According to a recent MIT study, artificial intelligence has the potential to perform tasks currently handled by nearly 12% of America’s workforce, impacting sectors like technology, finance, health care, and professional services. The research utilized the “Iceberg Index” to evaluate how AI capabilities overlap with the skills of over 150 million workers. AI is already transforming roles by automating tasks such as document processing and quality control, prompting shifts in job structures and skill demand. The findings indicate that while some positions may not disappear, the nature of work will undergo significant reorganization.
