Africa: Rwanda Struggles To Halt Spread Of Marburg Virus

Rwandan health authorities are struggling to contain the Marburg virus outbreak that has killed around a dozen people, mainly healthcare workers. Health Minister Sabin Nsanzimana reported that contact tracing is underway for hundreds of individuals to prevent further spread in Rwanda and beyond. Nsanzimana emphasized the importance of following guidelines to curb the disease’s transmission.
