Africa: Health Labour Market Analysis Support Tool Launched

The World Health Organization, Regional Office for Africa introduced the Health Labour Market Analysis (HLMA) Support Tool to aid countries in evaluating their health workforce education capacity and needs. The WHO also created the Health Labour Market Analysis Guidebook in 2021 and trained 75 experts from 25 African countries in utilizing these guidelines. The goal is to help countries better plan and integrate health workforce strategies to address the demand for health workers effectively.
