The World Bank is supporting the Government of Ethiopia to improve access to gender-based violence response services for 5 million people in conflict-affected communities. Through funding from the International Development Association, the project aims to provide vital services, rebuild infrastructure, and enhance GBV response services. An additional $31 million in financing, including contributions from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, will further support the country’s efforts to address the needs of conflict-affected communities in Ethiopia.
