Rwanda’s minister of defence, Juvenal Marizamunda, urged Eastern Africa Standby Force chiefs of defence staff to enhance regional response mechanisms and work together to achieve peace and security. At the 33rd policy organs meeting in Kigali, partnerships among member states were praised, with a focus on adapting to evolving conflicts and promoting stability in the region and continent.
