The CAF held a regional Anti-Doping Workshop in Johannesburg for COSAFA Medical Doctors to combat doping in African football, following a successful session in Burkina Faso. Attendees were trained on the FIFA and CAF MODOC System to improve Doping Control testing and were educated on Anti-Doping measures and prohibited substances. CAF’s Senior Manager emphasized the importance of training DCOs to use the MODOC System effectively and ensure the growth of African football.

Maurice Kamto excluded from Cameroon election
Cameroon's constitutional council has barred opposition leader Maurice Kamto from the 12 October presidential election, allowing 92-year-old President Paul Biya to seek an eighth term.
