The Bank will advocate for the operationalization of the Loss and Damage Fund, transparent finance mechanisms, and mobilizing climate finance to address Africa’s climate priorities and accelerate the continent’s energy transition. Through panels and side-events at COP29, Afreximbank will push for policies, investments, and mechanisms like green bonds and concessional loans to fund Africa’s climate projects and facilitate sustainable trade and development.
