Sister Inah Canabarro from Brazil is now believed to be the world’s oldest living person at nearly 117 after the recent death of a woman from Japan, according to LongeviQuest. Despite a challenging childhood, Canabarro credits her Catholic faith for her longevity, with her nephew providing support and keeping her spirits up. A former teacher and nun, she is celebrated by her local soccer club Inter and now holds the title of the 20th oldest documented person to have ever lived.
