The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights found extensive human rights violations in Sudan since December 2023, with 11.1 million people displaced, 3,933 civilians killed, and 4,381 injured. Key violations include sexual violence and child recruitment, with 60 instances of sexual violence and children as young as 14 joining conflict parties. The conflict, based on ethnic and tribal relations, requires international intervention to reduce suffering and restore human rights protection.
