Hideo Kojima has announced that an anime adaptation of Death Stranding is in production, alongside a live-action film directed by Michael Sarnoski. In an interview with Vogue Japan, Kojima expressed his desire to explore the cinematic potential of Death Stranding, aiming for a film that could achieve recognition at prestigious festivals. While details about the anime project remain scarce, fans can look forward to the release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for PS5 on June 22, featuring the return of Norman Reedus’ character, Sam Porter Bridges.
