The annual Christmas concert at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula on December 27 at 5pm, organized by ARS in Cathedrali, features the Choir of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, founded in 2019, performing major symphonic works. The choir, directed by Anthony Vigneron and supported by Xavier Deprez and Bart Jacobs, aims to collaborate with professional orchestras and will showcase works by César Franck, Théodore Dubois, and Clémence de Grandval. Xavier Deprez, co-principal organist of the cathedral and composer, serves as artistic director of the concert series and is also president of BSO and a former president of SERVIR, in addition to teaching organ at the Music Academy of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert and composing various musical pieces.
