USC's Watkins signs exclusive deal with Fanatics

Dan Hajducky, a staff writer for ESPN with an MFA in creative writing, reports that USC women’s basketball star JuJu Watkins has signed an exclusive, multiyear deal with Fanatics and Fanatics Collectibles, becoming the first women’s college athlete to do so. The deal includes signed memorabilia and autographed cards, with Watkins set to be featured in 2025 Bowman University Chrome Basketball cards. Fanatics will take over NBA cards fully in October, with the MLB debut patch concept expanding to NBA and NFL in 2026, while the status of WNBA rights remains uncertain due to ongoing lawsuits between Panini and Fanatics.
