Roomba's iRobot 205 robovac can go eight weeks without being emptied

iRobot has announced new Roomba vacuums with innovative capabilities, including the industry’s first onboard mechanical debris-compacting system in the Roomba 205 DustCompactor Combo Robot. This feature allows users to go eight weeks without emptying the vacuum and eliminates the need for a dedicated debris bin. The company also introduced the Roomba Plus 405 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock and the 505 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock, along with upgrades to the Roomba Home app. Prices range from $319 to $1,000, with preorders starting on March 18.
