Jio announces deal to bring Starlink to India just hours after similar Airtel partnership

Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries and India’s largest telecom operator, has partnered with SpaceX to offer Starlink’s satellite broadband internet services in India, pending regulatory approvals. Jio will sell Starlink equipment, support installation and activation, and explore other areas of cooperation with SpaceX.
