The Philadelphia Eagles traded safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Houston Texans for offensive lineman Kenyon Green, along with swapping 2026 draft picks. Gardner-Johnson had 59 tackles and six interceptions in 2024 and will fill a void left by Eric Murray in the Texans’ secondary. The Eagles’ defense also saw other key players depart, including Isaiah Rodgers, Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, Darius Slay, and James Bradberry, while the Texans made changes to their offensive line with Green’s departure and other moves.
