The band reunited in September 2021, but Parker sadly passed away from complications of glioblastoma on Mar 30, 2022. Sykes had been working on his second solo album for four years but decided to start over after Parker’s death, emphasizing the importance of seizing opportunities and making the most of life. He was inspired to independently write a new album as a way to honor Parker’s memory and embrace every moment with purpose and determination.
