Mary Kielty, mother of Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty, dies ‘peacefully’ at home – The Irish Times

A requiem Mass will be held in Co Down for Mary Kielty, mother of The Late Late Show host Patrick, who passed away at her home. Predeceased by her husband and siblings, she is survived by her sons John, Patrick, and Cahal, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and brother John O’Hare. Widowed in 1988 when her husband was killed by loyalist paramilitaries, Patrick shared his mother’s pride in her family and her fondness for watching his show.
