Nine north suburban businesses burglarized overnight – NBC Chicago

Businesses in Highland Park were targeted by a group of five burglars who broke through doors and windows to steal cash, with six businesses in downtown Highland Park and three in the crossroads business district affected. The first burglary occurred at 3:03 a.m., with a stolen vehicle used in the crimes linked to a similar burglary in Deerfield. The Highland Park Police Department is investigating, and affected business owners will receive information on crime prevention measures from the Office of Business Development.
