More than 120,000 Brits naturalised in European countries since Brexit vote

Between 2016 and 2023, over 110,000 Britons naturalised in EU countries following the Brexit referendum, with an additional 11,000 naturalised in Norway and Switzerland. The data excludes those who naturalised in 2024 and those gaining citizenship through ancestry or marriage, showing a significant increase in naturalisations since Brexit.
