In an Instagram post, Jake expressed the need for both physical and mental separation to ensure future success, thanking his father for years of selfless dedication and support in pursuing his dream. The father-son duo shared memorable experiences together, from driving to races as a kid to flying across the world, and will now focus on their relationship away from the intensity of training and racing.
