IIM Bangalore launched the ‘Shadow a Leader’ initiative to bridge the gap between industry and academia, allowing students to shadow industry, government, or civil society leaders for a day. Students gain hands-on experience in high-impact strategy meetings, financial planning discussions, and social institution visits, learning beyond management and operations. The program has seen 17 students participate, with more scheduled to shadow leaders from organizations like Brigade Group and Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd.
