India has renamed its latest air-to-air missile, the Astra MK-III, to Gandiva, after Arjuna’s legendary bow from the Mahabharata. Developed by the DRDO, Gandiva is set to revolutionize aerial warfare with a range of 340 kilometers, surpassing competitors like the French MBDA Meteor.
