President Donald Trump found the tone and body language of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy objectionable during an Oval Office meeting, leading to a loud argument, according to the White House. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt noted that Trump was bothered by Zelenskyy’s mannerisms, including folding his arms and rolling his eyes, as well as his informal address to Vice President JD Vance as “JD” instead of “Mr. Vice President.” The fiery exchange, which was televised, highlighted tensions between the two leaders, with Trump perceiving Zelenskyy’s behavior as disrespectful.
