US funding cuts confirmed, ending lifesaving support for women and girls

The grants also funded programs in countries such as Afghanistan, Chad, Haiti, Syria, and Ukraine, aiming to end unmet needs for family planning, maternal death, gender-based violence, and harmful practices by 2030.
