Phone thieves and anti-social behaviour targeted in crime bill

The bill also includes measures such as Respect Orders, scrapping laws on shoplifting, introducing new offences, and recruiting additional neighbourhood officers. However, questions remain over police funding and whether the proposed measures will be effective in tackling crime.
