Musk doubles down on threat to federal workers: File list of accomplishments or get fired

Elon Musk reiterated his threat to fire federal employees who fail to submit a list of workplace accomplishments, stating that they will be given a second chance before facing termination. Despite the Office of Personnel Management stating that responses to the email request are voluntary, Musk criticized the lack of compliance and questioned the competence of workers. A lawsuit filed by unions representing federal employees seeks to prevent OPM from terminating employees en masse in response to a new mandatory reporting program.
