Christina Hendricks, known for her role in Mad Men, revealed in an interview that she had a hilariously embarrassing audition for James Cameron’s Avatar, where she had to crawl on her hands and knees and howl like a dog. The role she auditioned for, ultimately played by Kate Winslet, was that of water-dwelling Na’vi warrior Ronal in the sequel Avatar: The Way of Water. Currently starring in the comedy series Small Town Big Story, Hendricks plays Wendy Patterson, a TV producer forced to confront her past in a small Irish village.
