Malawi’s accession to SAATM aligns with the AU’s vision of a united Africa, aiming to foster business, trade, tourism, and mobility while creating economic opportunities and cultural exchanges. SAATM’s operationalization is set to revolutionize Africa’s air transport sector by removing barriers, lowering airfares, increasing flight options, and generating job creation, contributing to overall development and prosperity on the continent.
