In a rapid deterioration of relations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump, Zelensky accused Trump of being trapped in a Russian “disinformation space” while Trump labeled Zelensky as “a dictator without elections.” Zelensky called for Trump’s team to be more truthful and responded to Trump’s false claims blaming Kyiv for the ongoing war. Meanwhile, European envoys in Kyiv expect substantial talks and have approved new sanctions against Russia.
