Ex-Navy officer Purnendu Tiwary's case sub-judice in Qatar court: Official

A sub-judice case in a Qatar court is causing a delay in the return of former Indian Navy officer Purnendu Tiwary, who was released from death-row charges with seven others last year. While seven of the eight released officials returned to India, Tiwary remains in Qatar due to the ongoing legal matter in a local court. The issue was not discussed during talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
