Musk’s xAI releases artificial intelligence model Grok 3, claims better performance than rivals in early testing

Elon Musk’s xAI unveiled its latest AI model, Grok 3, claiming it surpasses OpenAI and DeepSeek in early tests on math, science, and coding. The team also introduced “Deep Search,” a next-gen search engine. Grok 3 will be available to premium X subscribers and through a separate subscription for web and app versions. Musk described Grok 3 as “scary smart” and capable of self-improvement, with early tests showing superior performance on Chatbot Arena. The company plans to continuously enhance the model, with voice assistance to be added later.
