Aubrey Plaza makes first public appearance on ‘SNL50’ since husband Jeff Baena’s death

Aubrey Plaza made her first public appearance since her husband, director Jeff Baena, died last month, introducing a musical performance on “SNL50” featuring Miley Cyrus and Brittany Howard. Plaza, wearing tie-dye in honor of her late husband’s interest, has not been seen in public since Baena died by suicide on Jan. 3, with his family asking for privacy. Baena, known for his work on various projects with Plaza, was honored by Brady Corbet at the Golden Globe Awards, with Plaza previously hosting “SNL” in January 2023.
