Motherwell appoint German Wimmer as new manager

Motherwell have appointed former Austria Vienna boss Michael Wimmer as their new manager, replacing Stuart Kettlewell. Wimmer, a former player turned coach, has experience with clubs like Nuremberg, Augsburg, and Austria Vienna, where he won 27 out of 61 matches. The 44-year-old takes over a Motherwell side currently sitting eighth in the Scottish Premiership after a recent 3-0 defeat by Ross County, following Kettlewell’s departure due to personal abuse.
