All-Star grades: McClung takes over for dunk contest 3-peat

Kevin Pelton, a former consultant with the Indiana Pacers and co-author of the Pro Basketball Prospectus series, developed the WARP rating and SCHOENE system. At the NBA’s All-Star Weekend, events included the Rising Stars tournament, skills challenge, 3-point contest, and dunk contest. Winners included Team Cavs in the skills challenge with Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell, while the 3-point contest was won by Tyler Herro after Damian Lillard’s three-peat quest fell short.
