Thousands of pro-Palestinians march in UK against Trump’s Gaza plan

Thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched through central London to the US embassy to protest President Trump’s proposal to “take over” Gaza, waving flags and placards with messages like “Hands off Gaza.” Trump’s plan to redevelop Gaza and resettle Palestinians elsewhere was widely condemned by other leaders and the Arab world. The march, organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, was the 24th major pro-Palestinian protest in London since a deadly attack by Hamas in 2023, resulting in a heavy police presence and a counter-march called “Stop the Hate” waving Israeli flags.
