Professional tennis player Jannik Sinner has accepted a three-month ban for doping after testing positive for clostebol, a banned substance. The World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) reached a settlement with Sinner, who will serve his suspension from 9 February 2025 to 4 May 2025, allowing him to return before the French Open. Sinner, the men’s world No 1, was found to be inadvertently contaminated by his physiotherapist and did not intend to cheat, leading to the agreed-upon suspension.
