How foreigners can get residency in Spain after overstaying

The arraigo social in Spain allows non-EU citizens living without residency documents for two years to legalize their status. Requirements include two years of continuous stay, no more than 120 days outside Spain, and proof of social, economic, or familial ties. Applicants must also have a clean criminal record, a job offer or financial means, and demonstrate Spanish language proficiency. After submitting required documentation, passing an interview, and obtaining a favorable report, applicants can apply for residency, receiving a response within three months.
