Powerful storm triggers mudslides, evacuations and warnings in L.A.

A winter downpour in Los Angeles caused mudslides on Mulholland Drive and prompted evacuations in areas affected by recent wildfires. Flash flood warnings were issued for burn scars, including the Palisades Fire, but were later canceled as heavy rains moved out of the area. Evacuation orders were in place in various locations, with 32 million people under flood watches as rainfall continued across the state.
