Jeff Bezos space firm Blue Origin to cut a tenth of jobs

Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos’ space firm, is cutting 10% of its workforce, amounting to about 1,400 jobs, in a move to streamline operations for its upcoming crew-less moon mission. The company, led by CEO Dave Limp, aims to focus on ramping up rocket launches and scaling manufacturing output. Blue Origin recently achieved a major milestone with the successful test flight of its New Glenn rocket, positioning itself as a key player in the private space race despite competition from SpaceX.
