Despite nothing being stolen, Skosana was left dead on Vilakazi Street, prompting a murder case to be registered and leading to the arrest of a suspect at Kwa-Thema Hostel who confessed to the crime and surrendered the murder weapon, a revolver with erased serial numbers.
